Some History
About Me
how I became a bridge teacher
My father played bridge all his life.
When I was 18, he pulled out an old bridge textbook and started teaching me. After ten lessons, I was already playing and completely in love. Since then, I鈥檝e played almost every day.
After three children and twenty years, I decided to turn my passion into a profession and became a certified bridge teacher.
Today, I teach beginner groups of all ages from home, online, and at bridge centers in the Sharon area. I give private one-on-one lessons, teach children in schools, seniors in day centers, and run courses for the general public in community clubs.
At the same time, I continue to play in top Israeli tournaments and several international events each year. In 2025, I served as captain of Israel鈥檚 Under-16 national team at the World Championships in Italy, an inspiring and unforgettable experience.
I grew up in South Africa and lived for several years in Canada and England, so I teach fluently in both Hebrew and English.

Bridge is so much more than a card game
It is a game of thinking planning and teamwork
You play with a partner and together you must work as one without words understanding each other through the cards alone
It is a quiet and fascinating form of communication almost like your own secret language
In every game the cards change so each hand is a new puzzle
You must remember analyze and plan ahead and no two games are ever the same
Bridge brings together people of all ages and backgrounds and it is a wonderful exercise for both mind and soul
The blend of strategy cooperation and social joy is what makes bridge a game like no other
